Estimating yardage for projects

We often are asked how many yards of fabric is required for a footstool, wing-chair, couch, or other project.  It always depends on the size of the object and the size of the design “repeat” of the fabric used.  That said, here is a handy chart to estimate how much fabric will be needed for some typical furniture projects.
